To start, we want to thank you all for being here. Don of Pop Studios is where it is at today thanks to our families, friends and communities! Since it’s early days, we’ve always wanted our studio to be a place for community and you all have helped us so beautifully along the way. As many of you know, we felt a pull to bring our art and business to the East coast to Emily’s “dream city” Richmond, Virginia. We have a deep love for this city and the artists that create here. Emily first convinced me that this was a city for music by showing me artist after artist that either started here or is still here. The musical talent in RVA is boundless and we want to help grow the music scene here so that the artists of this community can be supported here in their art. We’ve started stage one of Don of Pop Studios and we’re already blown away at the talent we’ve encountered.

Our next iteration of Don of Pop Studios is already in the works! We plan on creating a stand alone studio in RVA that fully supports artists in their careers. As we hope to expand our community, we humbly come to you all to ask in your help to help us do this. We were encouraged to create a Kickstarter to help us get this going. Kickstarters ask their communities for help with funding a project and give their backers rewards as a token of their thanks. We loved the idea but we didn’t love that the man was going to take 5% for their platform. We’ve already got a website so we’re going to have our own version of a Kickstarter here where our backers 5% can now go to our fav charities! As kickstarters do, we have different reward levels for you to choose from! We thank you all for helping us to make Don of Pop Studios what is and what it will become!

Initial goal: $15,000
